ARTWORK

What are your frames made from?

All of our prints are mounted in a shadowbox style timber frame.

All of our timber frames are made from Victorian Ash and are locally and sustainably sourced.

Each frame is meticulously crafted using UV-blocking acrylic glass and includes convenient hanging hardware, allowing you to effortlessly showcase your artwork upon its arrival.

Read more about the materials we use and our responsible journey here.

How much does framing cost?

Framing is complimentary for all of our artworks. This ensures their protection and high quality as we value the preservation and exhibition of fine art photography.

Are your prints glossy or matte finish?

Matte finish. Each print is a Museum-Quality Giclee Fine Art Print, available in an open edition. All of our artworks are printed on a heavy 310gsm matte 100% cotton rag paper, using archival inks.

What type of printing do you use?

Our framed prints are produced on a specialised, commercial inkjet printer. They are archival quality, being the industry standard in galleries and museums across the world.

Do you use glass or acrylic for your framed artwork?

Our prints come with a museum-grade 3mm Acrylic that goes by the brand name, Plexiglass. Plexiglass is indistinguishable from standard glass, but is lighter and virtually impossible to break - an advantage for shipping and longevity. Plexiglass also helps to protect your artwork from UV damage.

What protection does my artwork have for transit?

Our framed artworks are carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped within custom-made, double-wall cardboard packaging via a reliable courier service.

What do you recommend for hanging hardware?

All frames are professionally finished with a wire at the back, ready to hang. We do not supply fixings due to the large variety of options for different walls.

Ensure your chosen fixings are suitable for the wall type and weight of your print.

Do you provide a certificate of authenticity?

Yes, all prints come with a hand signed certificate of authenticity.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

What is your return policy?

Each piece is custom printed, mounted and framed just for you, so we are unable to accept change of mind returns.

Can I exchange my piece for another size?

All orders are final. We are unable to accept a return or exchange as all pieces are custom made to order just for you.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Any cancellations or modifications to orders must be requested within a strict 24-hour window from the time of your initial purchase.

As we engage in the custom printing and framing of each piece, we are unable to accommodate changes once the framing process has commenced.

CARING FOR YOUR ARTWORK

Handling

Always handle your framed artwork with clean, dry hands to prevent oil, dirt, or moisture transferring onto the surface. You should hold your artwork by its frame or hanging wire to avoid damage.

Displaying

Avoid placing your print in areas with direct sunlight, excessive humidity, or extreme temperature fluctuations, as these conditions can cause fading, discolouration, or warping.

Make sure to securely hang your framed artwork on the wall utilising the stainless steel hanging wire attached to each artwork.

Cleaning

Only clean the artwork when necessary, targeting the affected area to remove any marks or fingerprints.

If required, dust your framed print artwork using a soft, lint-free microfibre cloth. Gently wipe the frame and glass surface in a single direction to avoid scratching.

Storage

If you need to store your artwork, ensure it is kept in a clean, dry, dark and cool environment.

Store your artwork upright or flat, avoiding any pressure or weight that could cause damage.

Avoid storing your artwork in areas prone to temperature and humidity fluctuations, such as basements or attics, as these conditions can degrade the artwork and material quality.

Professional Assistance

You can consult an art conservator or restoration expert for professional assistance if you have any concerns with your print down the track. They have the expertise to assess and address any issues effectively.
